Pleasant experience, great service and excellent quality with the best preparation. Perfect, we'd love to come back

We haven't lived here for long and are currently testing our way through the local gastronomy. Because we want to support them in the current social situation. We loved the "Haus am Berg", we "tasted blood" and tasted almost the entire holiday take away menu within a few days. The service leaves nothing to be desired, friendliness paired with a pinch of humor. Everything is excellently prepared, you can taste the fact that the kitchen is worked with heart and soul, the wines that go with it are selected and very digestible - not just to be enjoyed with food. We are really looking forward to it when (hopefully very soon) the situation is more relaxed again and we can then dine in the restaurant (and outside in the summer). The decoration has been carefully selected. Until then we are looking forward to the upcoming culinary delights. The food is healthy (organic, regional and seasonal) and just the right amount! The extremely rich, exquisite range of meat-free dishes (also on a small menu) should not go unmentioned! In addition, the food is offered in environmentally friendly packaging (deposit system and / or recycling material). Bravo, keep it up and à bientôt

The Haus am Berg is an unreserved recommendation for anyone who really wants to eat very well, a little more upscale and, above all, "fair"! The entire team around the owners Frank and Ulrike want the guests to feel comfortable and spend a relaxing evening of pleasure, from starters to desserts. It should be said here - that requires a little time for the guest, you should know that or should always be clear if you do NOT have the quick, simple kitchen! Keep it up, this is an asset to the already great area in and around Seelscheid!

The best thing about the meal was the bread with herb butter as a greeting from the kitchen - but that only came after about an hour. All in all, it took far too long, the tarte flambée was too dry and the roast beef shouldn't be cut into slices because it wasn't really warm when it was served. In addition, it was unfortunately also dry and tough, ordered was medium, but it was too well done. We will probably not come back, there are too many really good restaurants in this area, some of which are also much cheaper.

A taste explosion accompanied by excellent wines and in a delightful atmosphere! Chapeau to the two hosts !! I will definitely come back!

There were two of us during the week without a reservation (all tables inside and outside empty), unfortunately the condition turned us down because we didn't make a reservation. Unfortunately, she was so unfriendly that we won't go there again.

As always, the quality is right, rich and prepared with attention to detail. Very attentive and nice service! We will definitely be back! In the restaurant you sit comfortably and when the weather is nice you feel like you're on vacation on the wine terrace!

We went yesterday for a wine tasting with a set menu. It was a successful evening with plenty of information from the winemaker, great service and a great menu. Good thing that wine tastings also take place on the next two Saturdays. We will definitely come.

A perfect place to crown a beautiful hike. A small menu with fresh, regional products, perfectly prepared, plus a large selection of wines. Will be visited by us more often.

The location of the restaurant, very personal, great service and really good food. Not for overcooking, but something for real connoisseurs. From the soup over the main course to dessert really all top. Everyone was full and we had enjoyable two and a half hours. Many thanks to the team and the hosts who give everything in detail. With passion and a lot of heart, they cook and prepare delicious food here. An absolutely great kitchen with a lot of understanding of animals and shopping how and where what is prepared. You can taste the difference and it is worth every trip. The service is very courteous and nice to look at. We felt very comfortable.
